Glass of Water!
I happened to notice one evening, when I set my glass of water down into a beam of sunlight coming in through the window, that the refraction and dispersion cast the most beautiful caustics and rainbow highlights in the shadow of the glass. 
I immediately realized that I simply must have a picture of it for my desktop wallpaper. 
So now you can too!

Well yes, I believe I have expressed before that “abstract art” isn’t quite an accurate description of the kind of art that irritates me.
I guess you might call the kind that irritates me… I dunno, metaphysical, or perhaps New Age. Excessive bent on emotions, claim to more meaning than there is, etc.

Well this news story i once heard sums it all up beautifully: There was a newly emerging artist whose art was selling to museums for I think many billions of dollars, and was highly praised.
At the end of the article it was revealed that the artist was three years old. And one could tell that he was just messing around with paint like every child does, getting it all over himself and the canvas.
…So quite literally, I only dislike it when people praise art pieces that could have been done by a 3-year-old.
